My other number, even though I didn't use it at all, was deactivated after six months. After I couldn't get it back, since I was staying temporarily in Azerbaijan and often needed mobile internet, I picked a number at one of the official stores. And I thought I could stop an active tariff on the number and use more economical weekly or daily plans. Until about a year ago, as far as I remember, this problem didn't exist. Now Azercell, over the last two weeks, despite my using just 350 MB (which costs less than one manat) and having no extra subscriptions or services, has deducted from my balance 5–6 times more. Furthermore, the one-day (which usually means 24 hours) gifted package is deactivated without lasting a full 24 hours. I receive messages to top up my balance to keep my number active. Maybe the balance is shown incorrectly in the app. When I use the traditional service I found by searching on Google — probably completely free — it also just shows the remaining mobile internet. I'm curious: in countries where the minimum wage is 12+ euros per hour, where keeping a number active, roaming services and internet are so easy, accessible and even cheap, why do we have to pay a company with such meager monthly services the daily earnings of an average citizen? Phone service is also very poor; you could at least make it completely free so that people aren't worse off when they want to complain recently about their current balance disappearing. If this situation continues for another month, despite having all active services canceled through the call center, I will deactivate my number or switch to another line. You owe a response, an apology and more affordable, pleasant services for causing so much dissatisfaction!
